Josiah Hill III Clinic’s mission is to protect children from environmental hazards and promote community action for healthy homes. We provide education, testing, and resources to families and communities at risk for environmental health hazards in order to promote and improve early childhood health and development.

Josiah Hill provides free mobile testing for lead poisoning in children and women who are pregnant or nursing.  Staff or volunteers will provide a “finger stick” capillary test, meaning that a few drops of blood will be taken through a prick of the finger.  Many individuals find capillary tests to be less invasive, especially for children.  The results of this test will be made available onsite within five minutes.  We also offer onsite lead level consultation and link families with community resources.
